I have to agree. I saw the movie. The Farrelly Brothers miss the mark. The Stooges were not about mocking religion, and they were not about fart and booger jokes. The attempts to force in emotional melodrama through out the movie failed. And I could not believe the last third of the movie was just one long "Jersey Shore" commercial!! This movie was so NOT the Three Stooges. Not even close.
Agree. The Farrelly Bros made 3 big mistakes. First was forcing their own anti-Catholic bigotry into the movie. Second was the storyline where the Stooges are hired to kill the husband. When have the Stooges ever been murderous?? Third was throwing away 20 minutes of screen time to promote "Jersey Shore". I mean really, that will insure in 5 years this movie will be more out-dated than any of the Stooges comedies made in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s.
